About us
Ultrasonic test instruments manufactured by UltraTest GmbH have been in use around the world for non-destructive material testing for more than 50 years. All UltraTest measuring systems serve to determine the quality and elastic properties of various materials and substances such as setting processes on cement, mortar and render mixes as well as gypsum, hardened construction materials, refractories, plastics and adhesives compounds, solid rubber tires and products, wood and geological samples.

1956: Foundation of "Laboratory for technical physics" in Bremen, Germany
1971: Dr. Steinkamp received Professorship for applied physics at Bremen University
1988: Setting process measurement and cooperation with Schwenk Putztechnik (render technology)
1999: 1,000 ultrasonic test instruments sold around the world
2006: Renamed as UltraTest GmbH Dr. Steinkamp & Büssenschütt
2008: Redesign of IP-8, transducers and measuring forms
2010: Complete software redesign using UltraTestLab under LabView
